Reliability rating (Just Facts Daily): 36/50 (FAIRLY TRUSTWORTHY)

CSBAH Test:

C (Credentials)

Just Facts' staff is highly credentialed and trustworthy. James D. Agresti, the president and cofounder of Just Facts, has two decades of experience in public policy research and analysis. His work has been cited by a broad range of media outlets, academic publications, and Ph.D. scholars. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Brown University.

Stephen F. Cardone, the chairman of Just Facts’ board of directors, holds a bachelor of science in psychology from Brown University and has at least 30 years of private industry experience in corporate management, operations, logistics, accounting, and customer service.

We give Just Facts and Just Facts Daily an 8/10 in credentials.

S (Sources)

The About Us page on the Just Facts website states that they always use credible sources and subject their content to difficult tests before they release it. Sources used by Just Facts include:

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)—reliable, pro-science

The Free Dictionary—reliable

We give Just Facts and Just Facts Daily an 8/10 in sources. While they often make their sources slightly difficult to find by linking to another of their articles citing that source, they also use reliable sources with minimal bias.

B (Bias)

Just Facts' home page shows no major bias, with absolutely non-sensational section titles like, "Taxes", and "Energy". A search reveals that all their stories that most favor the right are actually from Just Facts Daily. MBFC News lists evidence that points toward a slight right-bias.

Just Facts Daily tends to run stories that favor the right, as can be seen by their latest stories, including such headlines as:

"Quantifying Illegal Votes Cast by Non-Citizens in the Battleground States of the 2020 Presidential Election"

"CNN Butchers the Facts on Late-Term Abortions"

"Yes, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris Are Planning to Legalize Abortion Up To Birth"

Just Facts Daily has criticized fact-checkers such as Snopes and Politifact as being left-biased, but a search reveals that they have not criticized any sources as being right-biased.

They also do not "teach the controversy" or present possible interpretations of the evidence that defer from their own.

However, they are not afraid to fact-check President Trump's claims. We give Just Facts an 8/10 on bias, and Just Facts Daily a 6/10.
