Certain parts of this post may or may not be true.
So the other day I playing baseball with my friend M. Trout, and I realized something:
Right now, in these crazy times, people are putting their trust in all kinds of things, fame, money, election results, etc. They're trying to somehow fill a void in their souls and give themselves hope.
But those things aren't going to sustain us. If you use a worthless anchor, you're in trouble. They are trying to pull themselves out of a pit with a burnt thread. Only Jesus can help us out, with the rope of his grace. A really good rope.
Back to the baseball game:
After mentally planning out this post, I threw a wicked curve that caught Mike off-guard. He swung mightily, but struck out. He looked at me, shocked.
"One hundred and thirty-five to nothing, Mike." I said.
"I'll get you back in the second inning," he replied.
